A Review on American Idol Season 5: Performing Rod Stewart.

Now this is probably the best episode yet since I started watching A.I 5. Each of the finalists evolved in their special elements and style in singing Rod Stewart's renditions.

My favorite Chris Daughtry started the show very well and left the judges dumbfounded (especially Simon) with his rock style mixed with ballad selection, "What a Wonderful World". Paris amazed Simon with her amazing compatible style of singing Jazz ala Natalie Cole, while Taylor unleashed his adrenaline rush on singing w/ the style of Sam Cook. Elliot was good, Ace was surprisingly praised by Simon (Probably one of his strategy for the audience to boot him out), and Katharine, whose glamour ended the episode with a blast! But only one "butchered" it off... and it was poor Kellie. If ever America wakes up from this confusion, I think it's gonna be a first time for Kellie to be placed on the bottom three. Oh I just wish its Ace who'd go home.

At this point, the competition's heating up. I hope the upcoming episodes would be this entertaining because from what i've observed, this one was a happy night... especially for someone like Simon Cowell.

WHOO!! GO CHRIS DAUGHTRY!!!!!!
