When crap turns into gold
I just rejected a Tungsten Palmheld PC. I feel bad.. first, seeing my gramps's face when I said it would have more benefit when we sell it and second, I really need one. :(
You can write your schedule, do notes, install photos and even play your own music.
I had to give it up.. because we have to be practical. Okay.. Rejecting it really lifted up my spirit and conscience and though you know, it's kinda hard letting it go because it's something/an opportunity that just pops once in a while. BUT since we live in a harsh world wherein money doesn't grow on trees,
we might as well think of it as an opportunity to be sold in exchange for the better future of everyone.
Okay I gotta let it go now. So, i'm playing Guitar Hero with my cousins. I rule the controller but the guitar?
I suck. haha
School's so near.. I'm so "excited". grar. But enrollment is nearer.. How horrible could my schedule be? Hindi pala schedule..
Professors. haii buti nalang wala na ko P.E. and NSTP.
I am soo excited (seriously) on the upcoming toy convention. Ubusan nanaman toh ng dineros. :o
That's all for now.. Gotta make the most of my remaining freebird days. There goes my couch potato persona taking over.. i just love watching Japanese Live Action Super Sentai series and
America's Next Top Model.
Youtube is the best. :)
Paranoia
Ok so I am soo paranoid right now... That is why I am going to predict what is bound to happen today:- Either deadma (sungitan) ni Tito at Tita or kausapin (sermunan) ako regarding my act of selfishness on going out with my grandpa and watch Pirates of the Caribbean 3, when it should have been my cousin and sister. This is because I got my chance yesterday by watching Shrek 3 with my friends.
- I am suspended from watching movies or going out because I don't shed concern regarding our expenses.
- parinig or show sarcasm.
- I am not allowed to use any electronics. *I guess*
If any of these three may NOT come true within the day, my winning deal with Kuya Roger shall be considered void. If I lose, I get to treat him a Fall Out Boy cd. huhu :c But of course i'd prefer to lose than to win noh.. ohh please Lord.. :sOn the bright side my stupid decision on watching with them was worth the chase because I loved the third and final sequel of Gore Verbinski's
Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End.Capt. Jack Sparrow is Love. Nothing but a drunk bastard who never fails to make me laugh in every scene. Weird.. yes. Cute.. very much. :)
I loved what they did to these characters. Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner stood out individually not relying too much on their "love story". Who would have thought *spoiler na so i'll stop.*..... one day at shore and ten years at sea hehehe And for the record, their marriage was the best one I've seen ever since I started watching movies. :p
I also loved this character. Captain Barbossa. A predictable antagonist who turned out to be a surprising protagonist. Well, pirates will always be pirates so spare them with their treacherous trait.
Captain Sao Feng. One reason why I liked the movie is that they added Asian flavor among the ships, the map, the setting and story itself. How they showed "ancient" Singapore was so believable you'd actually think that since we're close countries, we might have also that kind of environment. Basta, his character spiced up the movie. :)
Over-all: 5 stars. Warning: Finish all your necessities before watching this 3-hour movie. Some scenes may be giddy so be ready to have a slight migraine in the end. And be sure to watch the first movie followed by the second so as to understand the finale. :)
And because I know that reality sucks... I don't want to disobey the rules and therefore must be a good person from now on. What might happen today is for my own good... If you don't like this entry, i'm sorry.. I can't hold out these thoughts any longer.
ugh.. I hate the paranoia gene.
Stupid
Gimik with Aina and Monique!!
We watched Shrek the third.
It wasn't that great compared to the second one but the three of us had fun. :)
Nakita ko nga rin pala si Lara.. Sa Razon's while eating my favorite halo-halo with friends. wala lang. Mukha talaga kong tanga. hehe
And the guy I was telling you about *on my previous entry*,
dumped. No Guts No Glory e. Hanggang text lang ang kaya.. hehe
Okay i'm so mean.. i'm gonna stop. :p This day is so C.R.A.Z.Y.
And there goes my folks yelling at me.. Like I said..
Crazy..Thanks Aina! Monique! I shall be looking forward on the 29th.
Perfect Stranger
The perfect crime with a perfect twist. First of all, let me commend on the super sexy-hot Halle Berry for portraying her seductive espionage a success. Bruce Willis, even in his 40's, still showed extreme mojos that his playboy role can be seen through the look of his eyes. Giovanni Ribisi did well in his horny stalker role but the film itself? I'm a bit skeptic about it.
From what I understood,
it was the perfect crime. Thus, crime does not really pay. You make a mistake, keep it a secret and protect it by committing another. I loved how they've shown the harshness of reality... That whatever you do leads to its consequences (may it be good or bad). But what I didn't like about the movie is that the stars are so great they outshine the whole film. For me, it was a typical suspense yet perfectly planned movie. You can easily answer your whatever questions that you can think of like 'how did this happen?' as the story unfolds in the end. And like I said earlier, i'm still skeptic about it. It's up for you to judge it but for me, since it left me 'craving for more answers and what-ifs'..
3 out of 5.
28 Weeks Later
If I were to choose how our world would end, it would definitely not be like this:This is one of the movies i've been dying to see this summer. But after watching this, uh.. I'd rather go see Ms. Potter again. The movie is nice but I'd prefer the first one. However, what scares me most is the fact that this could actually happen in real life. Okay, now i'm taking it way too seriously. Zombies chasing flesh are my factors that make a horror movie effective.. for me. Dawn of the Dead, Prison Cell, 28 Days later... you name it. So if ever you're planning to see this movie.. i'm warning you. Don't eat anything during the movie.
There were some loopholes soo if I were to rank it... 3 to 4 stars.
Next attraction: Shrek the Third :)
from Short to Over
Ohh crap! I hate the feeling of wanting to share everything but can't express anything because of a sudden blank, not knowing where to start. And since it's been a month since I last updated, i'll share what I can still remember.I started my summer job at Javi's last April 16. For me, it has always been a great relief ending my nights with a sure 100 peso wage. But what really excites me is how much tip i'm going to get. Today's duty? I got 45 bucks. Now, don't laugh and think of it as a small amount because when you work, you really whack your butt off
hoping not to get short in cash and treasure each cent just to earn for the things you desire. Just like this:
Anyway, for the past few weeks, i've been also spending most of my time with my gramps. He has this trademark wherein he indirectly invites you and yet really makes you come with him.
'Babay Justine Greenhills' or 'Manunuod ako ng sine' or even 'babay aba! ligo ka na dali!' And I love him for that.. We haven't miss a movie ever since he got back from his Opus Dei seminar. Except for Gray Matters *curious*
But usually when we just stay home, we follow a 2-hour curfew wherein we use any electronics. And after that, turn it off... discover a way to stop boredom without using anything that has wires. So while we're at it, my cousins and I watch DVDs. The latest show we've marathon about was America's Next Top Model Cycle 5.
Last Sunday, my relatives arrived from Cebu. After our lunch, we headed straight towards Enchanted Kingdom wherein we tried first the kiddie rides... until I dared myself to ride the killer ones. It's so embarassing when you fear heights.. next to spiders and cockroaches. eoow. I freaked out on the Ferris Wheel, roared at the Anchors away and cursed so much on the Space Shuttle that I can't even lift a finger after the ride. Log Jam? forget it.. i'm taking the Swan boat. What I really enjoyed is the Dodgem a.k.a. bump cars I love driving... bump cars. :p
This Wednesday, all my cousins are going up to Baguio. As for me, Jessica and Kobe and lolo.. we're staying. I wouldn't want to miss my duty anyway. So goodluck to them..
uhh men, they get to be spared from the scorching heat.I love ANTM. I have this huge crush on cycle 4's runner up
Kahlen because she's soo beautiful at her photo shoots. Too bad she didn't win.. But I wasn't disappointed either when
Naima won. She did well.. Ok i'm so much outdated so I guess i'll be watching naman my favorite series..
The Power Rangers *gogogogo!* i'm currently watching Mystic Force with my cousins
I only have 5 days and a month to enjoy my vacation. After that, the real stuff begins.. I'm so nervous facing my third year. If second year was hard what more when you're in third? Hell? hehe But what makes this vacation the best is that i'm actually happier than last year. I may still have some adjusting problems due to our very complicated status quo, but that doesn't mean I can stop trying.
Lovelife? Still don't have one. Hmm, if there's anything new.. I think it's suitable in this category that this guy admitted his whatever to me. I really feel like an alien to this. Guess i'm trying to give it a chance.. though I told him I just want our relationship to remain as friends. No dates, no mushy talks and less words. How did it turn out? I don't know.. ask his ego. I think it went straight up so he played safe and took back all those oscar-winning lines.
Ohh I hate it when guys are soo egotistic. Torpe, safe and very egotistic. Ok I said the word 'egotistic' too much.. :pAnd speaking of friends, I miss hanging out with my friends. Those are the kind of events i'm looking forward to post in my planner.
So that's all for now. Much has been said... Another interesting day goes by.
