Quality Time

Guess who i'm with right now? my best friend. :p Just making plans for her debut... and acting like a chaperone for her dear mommy.. Anyway, we're chatting with Kai and I think she's about to give up. haha

Just finished enrolling. Another bad luck for me cuz I didn't follow their code of ethics. My a**! Good thing Dan was there so I borrowed her shoes. Sige, kahit masikip para lang masabing complete uniform. :p I chose basketball as my P.E so I can be with my fellow girlfriends.. didn't like the schedule though. Sorry Juz, no nightlife. Wait a minute, and since when did you have a nightlife? :p Bummer. Anyway, i'm leaving at 5 and its fifteen minutes before that so i'll have to make the most of it by helping my katropas for my besty's partei.. Ciao.

Later that night...

Hai.. I just finished doing errands for my grandma. For the record, her medicine box is now twice as huge as before. We had to feed her this new medicine through a medicine dropper every 5 minutes. Tomorrow the rounds will take place every hour until the 4th day which has the maximum drop of 4x a day. Anyway, I do not sense any reason for sharing this.

I watched another series in replacement of American Idol:

Beauty and the Geek

Familiar? The co-producer of this reality show is none other than Punkd's man.. Ashton Cutcher. The plot is very obvious based on the title itself; An ultimate social experiment.

The first season begins with seven "beauties" and seven "geeks". The second season begins with eight "beauties" and eight "geeks". The men and women take turns choosing partners by introducing themselves in gender-divided rooms. Once paired off, the teams work together to become proficient in unfamiliar areas of study. Their skills are tested in a series of competitions, usually one for the men and one for the women. The winners of each competition get to choose one team each to go to an elimination round, or both if each partner wins their respective round. In the elimination room, the women then the men answer three questions each about their area of study. The team with the most points (or the winner of the tiebreaker in the event of a tie) remains in the mansion. The other team leaves immediately.

The remaining team wins $250,000, split 50/50, paid out over 5 years.

Looks promising... but i'm looking forward to see LoveAsia. I think Ornusa Cadness is representing our country, though i'm not that sure if she really was that woman I saw beside Maggie Q.

D i t c h e d

I am so frustrated with what's happening to me. First, I gained a lot of lbs., second, my emotions are all mixed up, and third, I suddenly forget my piano piece that I always play just to satisfy my grandma's mood. What's next? Getting hit by an 8-wheeler truck?! Owww... I hate this vacation. It makes me so dumb I don't know who I am anymore.

I used to be aware of my limit whenever I cross that boundary. I am in control of things that come in and out of my way. But now i've become loose... I hardly even care about enrollment tomorrow. I keep on telling myself how misleading I am and I can't even do anything about it. I can't even help touching that tiny little allergy on my face and now it's bursting larger than life. Can somebody slap me?

Ohh if only I could fix this mess, I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror. Tss.. :c

Bad Day

Where is the moment we needed the most

You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on

You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces everytime
And I don't need no carryin' on

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride

You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say
And I don't need no carryin' on

You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride

You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day(Oh.. Holiday..)

Sometimes the system goes on the blink
And the whole thing turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well oh that strong
And I'm not wrong

So where is the passion when you need it the most
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day

You've seen what you like
And how does it feel for one more time
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day
Had a bad day

Now this is what I call a 'perfect song'.

Grease is the word.

With nothing left to do, my cousin and I searched in my grandpa's infamous DVD collection for some movies to watch. After some lousy discussions on choosing between a chick flick or a scream-a-thon, we found his classics and ended up watching GREASE.

It's been 8 years since I last watched this musicale. When I was a kid, I would repeat and repeat the player until the song gets stuck in my head, and then I would play it all over again. It was funny knowing that after all these years, I could still remember each line and sing even with my eyes closed. All those lines, jokes and terms I barely understood are now answered thanks to my expanding observation. I guess it really stayed inside my head, placed on the back with the subconscious ones. Grease is a classic and no remake can ever replace it. Unlike Poseidon and other movies brought back to life (thanks to technology), no one can ever be compared to John Travolta's dancing moves and Olivia Newton-John's charming voice.

And so the legacy goes on. From the moment my grandpa bought me this copy on a VHS tape, I can now pass this on to my little cousins who sings and imitates the cast like I did before.

Grease is the word is the word that you heard it's got groove it's got meaning
Grease is the time, is the place is the motion. Grease is the way we are feeling. ;)

Gosh, now i'm gonna have a hard time getting it off my head.

Little Manhattan

Now i'm thinking of the best reason why I didn't watch this in the big screen.

A similar plot to the old series 'The Wonder Years', the story is about a 10-year old New Yorker named Gabe (the guy from Zathura), who falls in love for the first time to an 11-year old girl and does everything to show his romantic interest in the midst of his pre-adolescent years.

Living with his "divorced" parents, Gabe undergoes his toughest challenge yet; His maturity and overcoming his fear of getting cooties every boy at his age gets for kissing girls. The center of interest here is Rosemary Telesco, the girl whom he met when he was in kindergarten, and reunites as they share the same karate class. Starting out as 'Sparring partners', the development of Gabe's adoration with Rosemary comes out little-by-little through their crazy adventures (with some help from his karate idol, Mike Chat) and is noticed later on that yes... he's in love.

Though love isn't only captured with the beautiful/romantic scenes of New York, he also stumbles into the rocky road of bitterness and painful disappointment by not professing his love to the girl. With Rosemary leaving in a day or two, Gabe realizes that he'll be smothered for the rest of his life and face the exact consequences like his dad. He resolved his confusion vis-a-vis obsession by facing his fears and brings out the courage on what a true man should do.

The story is admiringly done with a sunny disposition for both parents and kids. The challenge leaves everyone of us that it's better not to leave things unsaid. For one day when clutter fills in the room, there might just be no space to fill in with anything... anymore.

And in the end, it all comes down on how surprising yet funny it was when we first fell in love.

X3: The Last Stand

So I took the risk of watching this movie instead of The Da Vinci Code in exchange for the once in a lifetime option my gramps gave me. And you know what? It wasn't worth it.

Oh my, it looks like the film didn't manage to capture the true essence of the X-Men unlike in the previous sequels. It was disappointing to see the flow of the movie because the beginning was so boring. The middle was unbelievable, and the ending? Oh please... Do they really have to end it that way? BRING BACK BRYAN SINGER! Too bad, he already transferred into the DC universe. ---> Superman Returns. :)

Watch the 3rd trailer.

It was entertaining because of their showdown of powers although the movie suffered because of its poor plot. Ah basta, I don't want to spoil the details. All I can say is that the movie is NOT as PROMISING as it was in X2.

I guess I just expected too much. Boo... :p

American Idol Season 5: The Next Idol.

The 2-hour special was great! Good thing, my best friend texted me the night before about the live airing of ABC 5, and also Star World. There were lots of surprises so I won't spoil them. Catch the replay on Star World at 4pm and 8pm, and for those who only have their local cable.. 10pm on ABC5.

And the winner is!!! :)

Soul Patrol... Taylor Hicks

Good. ;)

Unleash the super within.

I'm into superheroes lately... Yesterday, I took a quiz on "What's my superhero name" with Ivy, and now, I suddenly joined this affiliation I found in Gamespot. Earlier this afternoon, I went back to my ol' habit of staying inside Filbar's and updated myself on new released comic books. Oh, Greenhills is such a haven for me... :) I hope that tomorrow, I can watch X3 with my gramps. But the movie i'm really dying to watch is... NONE other than..

Oh... can I just say that i'm not excited to see this movie?? :p Darn.. i'll do anything just to grab a premiere ticket.. ooohhh...

I have no idea why I suddenly joined this "union". :p

Anyway, the local tv show Panday is about to end. HOREY! :p I thought it was nice because Derek Ramsey looked great, you mean hot? :p But then again, The Jericho-Heart acting is getting into my nerves. *no offense to their fans. :P* Since it's James Bond month, my gramps made me watch the very first movie of the 007 saga. Dr. No with the BEST James Bond, Sean Connery; too bad he's already old. Paired with the very first Bond girl, Ursula Andress. You probably don't know her folks... Beautiful.

And so it's Wednesday moving into Thursday, meaning.. it's American Idol day! the 2-hour special, The Finale, the end. Ohh.. I really hope TAYLOR wins!! I had a laughtrip with Simon's showbiz thing when he said Taylor's the winner... oohh I even saw my honey Chris Daughtry! waha anyway, i'll screw them if Kat wins. I even dreamt of her starring in a horror movie, screaming for her life as the killer chases her. Haha bad. Anyway, i'm not making any sense.

Vacation's about to end, school's near, and I haven't done anything sensible. Only sleep.. and net. err... Ok, i'll stop na. :)

Away from the Craze: Poseidon.

Falling in line for 30 mins. was like waiting for the ducks to croak. Obviously, everyone's fuzzing to watch the most anticipated film, The Da vinci Code. With 6 out of 9 movie theatres (in Gateway cineplex), each has been raided by thousands of people, willing to wait for eternity just to satisfy their curiosity. Now, who says i'm gonna go through all that?

Unfortunately, one person stopped my yearning. Hence, t'was the same person who stopped me from buying the literature three years ago. My grandpa. =p

He kept on showing me how false the book was and how grave Dan Brown was doing. "Thanks to him, millions will suffer for their loss of faith." For me, I thought he was just exaggerating. He was just acting defensively because he belonged to that "bashed group" mentioned in the book. But yeah, sometimes you just can't blame these people for being so religious and overreacting because its their belief that lies on the line.

And so how did I get into this hype? I have no idea... I can only remember the movie I traded for this madness, the one that belonged to the outcasts... ;p

If I were to name a few words to describe this Wolfgang Petersen flick:

Deep . Shattering . Gooey . Cold . Hot! . and..

Amazing ;)

Josh Lucas was so hot (because he reminded me of Chris Daughtry.. haha!), the single mom looked like Katharine McPhee (hanggang dito talaga eh noh. labo.) , Kurt Russell worked alive and energetic with a few of his wrinkles, and I almost forgot... Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie who almost sang My humps! Nah, just kidding... :p

I hate to spoil the details so i'm telling you this... watch it. Because you'll feel the whole movie from start to end.

American Idol Season 5: The Finale

Shocked? No. Surprised? Yes. I knew Taylor would make it to the Finale. Probably, he could even be the next winner. And what about Katharine McPhee? I don't know... If there's one question I would like to ask America, it would be... What happened?

From the moment Chris got voted out, I began questioning the voting system of A.I. But then again, it might have been the finalist's fault because of his wrong choice of songs. Katharine got lucky because she was able to win over America's judgment through her "star quality" which is her charm. But tonight, winning over Elliot? We have no one to blame but America and its standards. My point is that Katharine McPhee is going to be another stereotypical American Idol. Her last 2 performances were somehow a requiem for A.I. Season 4: Scott Savol's I'll survive and survive and there's nothing you can do about it.

Anyway, when the results showed that it was Elliot, you could see the look on her face that she was really happy.. who wouldn't? happy in the sense of Elliot fans turning outrageous. Only that Taylor and his family were seen with stone-faced expressions while she and her mom.. well, call it.. di - makapagpigil, until the camera was focused on Ryan Seacrest.

Now, why did I include this? I just want to say.. Have some class naman! Boy, now i'm ticked off. :p

My bet is on Taylor Hicks. One thing's for sure, he's novelty: Something fresh, something nice to watch while he mops the floor with his killer moves. He can't even dance... but he's trying. ;p

So why am I wasting my time on an entry that can't even reach the eyes of America? Nothing really, i'm just so freaking pissed on the unlawful results i've been seeing for the last couple of weeks. :p

Goodluck Taylor, I hope your votes will win you out as the new Idol.

Yoo Jin a.k.a Eugene

I'm not much of a koreanovela fan but I really admire this actress. So much for posting an entry for her, I just can't help but share how fascinated I am on the way she acts and of course, her charm.

Kim Yoo-Jin is a singer and actress commonly known as Yoo-Jin in Korea.

(Eugene naman sa Pinas. :p)

Yoo-Jin has appeared in three Korean soap operas, namely "Loving You", "Save The Last Dance", and "Wonderful Life". She has also appeared in numerous TV ads. She has released two solo albums. Her first album, "My True Style" has sold nearly 65,000 records. Her second album, "810303" has sold nealy 19,000 records. She is currently working on her third album set to release in July 2006.

Born on March 3,1981 , in Seoul, Korea. However, she grew up in Guam and currently lives in Korea with her family. She is fluent in Chamorro, English and her native Korean. Eugene, as fans call her, weighs 44 kilograms and stands at 163 cm. She practices the Christian faith, and says that she is truly proud to be one.

and her current koreanovela aired on ABS-CBN.. Wonderful Life.

Although I wasn't able to watch her show religiously from the beginning, unlike Princess Lulu... :p She portrays her role here very well... Comedy with a touch of a heart-pinching romance. Catch her every 10pm at ABS-CBN. :)

Now can you say i'm not a tv mediator? ;)

Soundtrip.

Thank God I had the chance to reunite with my grade school friends. It was a night full of music and captivation as we stood in front of the stage, super close to the artists, as if we could already grab their foot. :p

for Pictures visit my multiply.

Too bad Trish wasn't there. We had the howler's pass meaning we can just go straight in front without having a hard time falling in line. I thought we were late but we came just in time. Francis M. started the jamming with his Superproxy, then turned the spotlight to Rivermaya. Rico Blanco sang a few popular songs, then sang Posible with the Pinikpikan Band. Mala reggae/folklore sila. Then it was back to Francis M. who proxified JayR for being stuck in Dubai (because of the weather), with the help of Soul Siren Nina. And then it was a happy night for the 6 of us (Helen, Jaiz,Rosz,Baj,Paul and me) because it was Kitchie's turn to rock our night! I think she sang the most number of songs... Bulong, Majika, Same Ground, Wag na Wag (buhay pa yun ah! namiss ko nga eh.) , and Ligaya. Then last but not the least, Bamboo. They had the most number of howls since all of them were maP.R., until one guy/groupie stole the scene and relentlessly jumped up the stage and hugged the band members. This caused one of the securities to walk in front of the stage and "took care" of that KSP guy.

The night ended successfully with all of our voices strained, stressed but enjoyed. I went carpool with my best friend Rosz and her parents. A big thanks to them for treating me a midnight munch at Burger King. I dropped off at their house to call my mom and fortunately got home at 2a.m.

Thanks so much for the tickets Tita Joy! Thanks for coming Nameless. :) Sana maulit ulit mga ganito kasayang gimik.

and before I forget, i'll greet na an advanced Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in the world. :) And btw pahabol :p , Jam's safe. :) too bad for Fred, it should have been CLARE! peace. :)

and now I shall sign off.

Suspicious Minds.

For a moment there I stopped lifting my spoon headed towards my mouth when my mom said Guess who's out? My heart started beating as if it was running from a werewolf. It was a very shingling feeling when I softly asked, Chris? She nodded.

Bye Chris, i'll surely miss you. :p

I was very frustrated with the results because Mcphee defeated Chris to the edge by one or ten percent. Luckily, Elliot successfully sang Elvis' songs which stole the hearts of the American society including Randy, Paula and Simon. But I must admit, I was a bit disappointed at Chris when he chose another mediocre arrangement especially his second song. But duh?! Katherine was "out of pitch" already, which America failed to see. Oh well, I guess there's nothing to look forward to, now that I won't be seeing him. :c

Geez, affected?? haha you bet! I therefore conclude that all my bets don't win! damn it. From Constantine to Bianca G. to Chris... mamaya si Jamilla naman matatanggal. GRRR..

One disadvantage on watching reality shows is the heavy baggage loaded inside you. Pero pasaway parin ako. :p

The Da Vinci Code is near and the fever goes on... I'm looking forward on seeing Audrey Tattou.. :} Unfortunately, I still haven't read the novel. haha connection? :p

Anyway, i'm still frustrated with Chris on losing A.I. because of Elvis... Maybe this wasnt his thing... Baka magwork pa kung nagpakaBackstreetBoys sha. :p

Appreciation.

Happy Birthday to my cuz Javi. Anyway, today was an artsy fartsy day.

We went to Megamall and got myself a new Justice League comics by Alex Ross (my most fave artist) issue #1. waha kudos to my dadei.. :p We went to the reunion of the Aquinos at Lola Maur's house (who happens to be Ninoy Aquino's sister and has a son who owns my beloved dream house. hehe) There were so many books, paintings and sculptures that I got hooked on. Then I went home shortly after dinner and watched American Idol. Elliot was great, Taylor went overboard, McPhee entertained me with her 1st song, but my love Chris went Mediocre! err.. I hope America won't vote him out. followed by PBBTE wherein I suddenly realized that Gerald is very pugi. :p

And now i'm back for more... pics, entries, chat, doodle, you name it! :) and here's a wealthy evidence that can prove how Car and I were so attached in today's episode.

Who says he's an underdog? Move over Elvis! Elliot's looking for Trouble.

He's a little suspicious with his decisions... Choose the right song Chris!

Too bad I can't vote. bakit? Taga America ka ba? But I hope this little doodle would reach out to fans out there who has the privillege to vote and support. err.. I feel bad. I think it's Chris who'll say goodbye tomorrow. I hope it's Kat.

Ehh i'm sleepy na. Maybe next time.... But before that, let me share to you a simple question from a sister pal which made me laugh and flattered. yihee..

hmm.. FBO ka na ba? :p

Hahahaha it's called the art of rejuvenation dear. wahaha

A Gamer's "Pot".

It never fails. May is always the coming of special events month.(the month wherein I discover ways on how to fight boredom) Just when I was about to clean my car, urgent errands ploop out into thin air, and the next thing I saw was myself, walking into countless blocks and whatever reasons, I obeyed.

Right now, i'm into video games. I also speak my mind in forums which I usually explore and read. I eat and sleep, maintaing the innerbumness in me. And definitely, obey.

I guess it was my lucky day or should I say night because my dad came and visited us. We invited him over dinner and also went outside to walk around the neighborhood to digest some of our "stuffed baggage" inside our stomach. He bought / replaced my current glitchy game Onimusha 4 which led me into buying two other games. And then we walked again and this time, to our house. It was really bitin but we had a great time. :)

In other matters, my trip to our block's outing was cancelled due to this upcoming concert my aunt was organizing. Sponsored by Nokia, I was assigned/given the chance to recruit as many friends as I can to fulfill our tasks as the "cheerleaders". :p I thought it was an amateur concert but my aunt said Rivermaya, Kitchie Nadal and other bands will be performing. The best part that made me say yes was that my ticket was already paid. or should I say free. Same goes to the ones I invited. :d But I really feel sorry for not coming to our block's outing.

I was fixing my account on Gamespot.com and discovered new games that will soon arrive in the market including:

Superman is returning soon. June 28. :p

Err.. I want a white PSP. :o on second thought, a Sony PS3! waahh :'c

Tomorrow i'll be out with my sis to get our Hero membership card. Yes, she was a like a magnet when she told me to join. Actually, it was rather simple. She just told me I can get discounts on my favorite stores. (fully booked, toyplace, etc.)

That's all folks. I have this resolution on waking up very early. hihi bago yun ah. :o

ciao.

PBB teens: Jamilla

Sabi ko nga hindi ako manunuod ng PBB teens.

Please vote:

Jamilla Natalie Obispo 18 years old from Laguna
Jamilla has fallen from grace more than once yet she has managed to pick herself up and start all over again. She is not embarrassed to admit that she didn’t grow up in a normal family set up.

She is not ashamed to say that she was just a 17 year old Nursing student when she got impregnated by her boyfriend of 4 years. And she is also not hiding the fact that she worked as a model and GRO in a girly bar. Because for Jamilla every person has a chance for a new beginning and she believes her time for a new life is now.

Growing up not knowing her Puerto Rican father and having an OFW absentee mother, she and her sister were left in the care of different people. “Lumaki ako sa lola ko dahil sa trabaho ng mommy ko. Tapos sa tita ko. Actually noong unang alis ng mama ko sa kaibigan niya kami iniwan. Naaalala ko pa hanggang ngayon yung itsura ng sister ko, malnourished na. Napabayaan kami. Di siya nagpapadala. Then nakakita ako ng pictures niya sa abroad, nagpapakasaya siya may boyfriend pa siyang kasama.” That’s why Jamilla is closer to her grandma than her real mom. “Mahal na mahal ko ang lola ko. Siya ang takbuhan ko kapag may problema.”

When she got pregnant by her boyfriend though she was very grateful for her mom’s intervention. “Pinaghiwalay niya kami. Nakita niya na tamad at iresponsable yung boyfriend ko. Hindi na nagpakita ulit after kong manganak, ni singkong duling wala siyang itinulong. I realized in the end na tama pala ang mama ko.” Jamilla considers her baby a blessing even though the child had a cleft palate and lip when he was born. Her baby needs 5 operations so she accepted a job as a GRO in a girly bar. “Nagmomodel ako or tine-table. Bawal ka naman lumabas and choice mo din kung sasama ka sa customer.” Tips average from zero to P30,000 a night but the biggest amount she was offered was P100,000. And she accepted this amount once for her child’s first operation. “Isang beses ko tinangap para sa baby ko. Kilala ko na rin kasi yung taong nag-offer nun. Alam kong hindi siya hihingi ng kapalit. Sobrang bait siya. Kaso ayoko ko muna kasi mainvolve sa kahit kanino dahil ang priority ko ay ang anak ko.”

Pinoy Big Brother seem to be the answer to Jamilla’s prayers. “Gusto ko na talaga huminto sa ganitong klaseng trabaho. Sa pagsali ko mabibigyan ako ng chance di lang matulungan ang baby ko, pati na rin yung pangarap ko na maging artista.”

BB(space)Jam and send to 2331 for Globe and Sun, 231 for Smart and Addict.
She deserves to win. :p

Jensen Ackles

He's that cute guy from Smallville, Devour and the all-new Supernatural. Born with cherry-kissable lips and those gorgeous smiles, i've been seeing him in front of the screen for 3-consecutive days and I must say... i'm in love. :p haha just kidding.. does love at first sight even exist?

For those who are willing to read his tediously long biography:

After roles in a string of action/sci-fi shows, handsome Texan Jensen Ackles used his moody persona and bad boy looks to snag a starring role in the WB hit “Supernatural” (2005 - ).

The Dallas native, born in 1978, grew up in an acting family. His father Alan Ackles, was an actor who made recurring appearances on “Walker, Texas Ranger” (CBS, 1994 - 2000) and “Dallas” (CBS, 1984-1988). Ackles started modeling when he was two years old and also did some commercial work, appearing in print and TV ads for Wal-Mart, Nabisco and Radio Shack, but didn't begin to fully realize his potential until fifteen years later, where he broke hearts and won fans portraying Eric Brady on the NBC daytime drama "Days of Our Lives" (from 1997 to 2000).

After his preschool foray in to the modeling world, Ackles stayed out of the spotlight until 1995, when he was signed by an agent after being spotted at a Dallas actors' workshop. His TV acting debut came shortly thereafter, appearing in an episode of the Dallas-lensed PBS series "Wishbone", starring a talking dog who acts out literary classics for kids. After completing high school, Ackles moved to Los Angeles, where he landed a guest role on "Sweet Valley High" (syndicated) and a regular part on the high school-set sitcom "Mr. Rhodes" (NBC, 1996-97), in which a hip writer takes a job teaching at a prep school--Ackles played one of the students who were more disciplined than his teacher was.
Though the series was troubled from its beginnings and enjoyed only a short run, Ackles used the part as an important jumping off point, and was soon essaying the role of Eric on "Days of Our Lives". Walking in the shoes of a character who hadn't been seen onscreen since infancy, Ackles was a good counterpoint to his evil twin sister Sami (Alison Sweeney), who shared his freshly-scrubbed, golden blond good looks, but unconvincingly hid a poisoned heart. The far more sympathetic and charming Eric quickly gained favor with fans of the soap. He garnered three Daytime Emmy nominations during his tenure as the teenage Eric. While Ackles played the part, the character overcame a rape charge, worked as a photographer, fell in love again and again and had a near-death experience. Ackles left the series in 2000, when his character's storylines stalled.

He appeared in the CBS 2001 miniseries "Blonde", based on Joyce Carol Oates' fictionalized biography of Marilyn Monroe, as the spoiled, irresponsible son of a famous actor who has an affair with Monroe in the show and almost bankrupts her with his lavish ways. That same year he became a series regular on the popular Fox sci-fi adventure series "Dark Angel". Having first appeared on the series the season year before as a doomed X5 escapee Ben who has difficulties integrating into the real world, Ackles reemerged as Alec, a genetically engineered superhuman with a sarcastic sense of humor designed to be Alba’s mate until she spurned his advances.

Ackles’ first gig at The WB, the network that would make him famous, was a recurring role on Dawson’s Creek with James Van der Beek and Katie Holmes. He played a drug and alcohol counselor (WB, 2002-2003) as well as Michelle Williams’ love interest. The actor made his producing debut in “The Plight of Clownana” (2004) and also acted in the film, about a dancing clown who is the mascot for a banana store. The same year, he starred in a mid-season Fox replacement series wasn’t picked up. “Still Life” was history of a family from the perspective of its dead son. Ackles played the son who skipped town with his brother’s ashes and later tries to find a way to reconcile with his parents.
Ackles was cast in a recurring role on “Smallville” (WB, 2004-2005) as Lana Lang’s jealous, kryptonite-wielding, sometimes boyfriend. After meeting Lana in Paris, Ackles’ character relocated from Metropolis to Smallville where he became the high school football coach, well-positioned to make trouble for the budding superhero Tom Welling.

Ackles’ first mass market feature was "Devour" (2005) also starring Dominique Swain. He played a college student who was drawn into an online game that soon made his nightmares a reality. It was a critical disaster, but his big break came next. Paired with “Gilmore Girls” Jared Padalecki, “Supernatural” (WB, 2005 - ) was a hit with Generation Y females, who loved the stars, as well as male viewers, who liked the damsels in distress. His character Dean Winchester was a gruff, wreckless and stubborn young man whose life decision to save people from supernatural evils doesn’t seem to fit his personality, even though a demon killed his mother when he was a toddler. Ackles and Padalecki made a sympathetic pair, however, and the good script and production quality made for an exciting hour.

He should've gotten the role of Clark Kent instead of Tom Welling.

I used to hate him though when he was still Jason Teague in Smallville. But now I love him.. este like pala.. :p

smell the greens.

I can feel my blood being brought back to life when 7 Hours ago, I travelled with my cousins to Ateneo and played on the field (at the back of Moro Sports Complex). I was honing memories from last summer as we endure ourselves into a lot of running with a very healthy sport called frisbee- ing. :p

My aunt and uncle treated us at this hole-in-the-wall restaurant in U.P and ate a very delicious dinner of Tapsilog. :p By the time we got home, tamang-tama.. American Idol was about to start. Results came in and America made another intelligent choice of voting Paris out of the competition which leaves... Taylor, Chris, Elliot and Katharine. I have this gut feeling that Elliot's next. haha peace car... :p Anyway, at 10pm I watched the pilot episode with former Smallville's Jason Teague, Jensen Ackles and House of Wax's Jared Padalecki in Supernatural.

I'll make it more easy to understand by posting the synopsis:

A silken blend of action, drama, mystery with a dash of science-fiction, Supernatural is a tale of two brothers, bound by destiny and disaster to battle the evil forces of the paranormal. Poles apart, the Winchester brothers are compelled to travel all around the country to hunt out the eerie creatures of urban legends and folklore that you thought were all just made-up.

When their mother, Mary, was taken from the family 22 years ago by unseen evil forces, the brothers' father John embarked on a mission against the supernatural to avenge his wife's death. Bringing the two young boys with him on his strange missions, John brought them up to hunt and fight the unexplained – whether they wanted to or not. Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) is the younger brother – the "normal" one. A law student trying to escape the eccentric lifestyle his father mapped out, Sam gladly traded his ghost-hunting for college and a perfect girlfriend, and hasn't seen his brother Dean (Jensen Ackles, Smallville) for 4 years. When the latter turns up suddenly on Sam's doorstep with the news that their father has vanished, he has little choice but to join Dean in a search for their father.

Warner Brothers' Supernatural is about fate, family and the choices we make – taking viewers into the dark and twisted world of phantom-hunting. In between the undercurrents of rivalry, the estranged brothers learn more about themselves and their family, and face up to a journey in which anything can happen – and does. With executive producers McG (Charlie's Angels, The O.C.) and writer/executive producer Eric Kripke (Boogeyman), Supernatural is a gripping thrill-ride where nothing is ever what it seems.

It was nice... the perfect word for it would be creepy. ;) Don't miss it at 10pm on AXN.

But before that, let me congratulate my best friend for winning the best performance by portraying a tibo on Majika. :p hahaha Im happy for her... she's back to the life she really deserves to be in.

Going back, I wanna spend all my time watching these upcoming movies. I guess they're all good since their trailer really attracted me. :)
err... i wanna watch 'em

*sigh*

temerity

Let me say my piece on the new PBB Teen Edition.

It's too easy to tell who'll stay and who'll be voted out as early as now because of the people inside the house who lacked discipline among themselves. Most of them are behaving like they want to win an academy award best in drama by crying over shallow things. For example, I call it 'baduy' because some guys fight over a woman. No violence pa naman but I bet in the near future, there'll be catfights between these guys. However, the girl is somewhat the Pontius Pilate come clean type. She flirts este befriends these guys and approves on cuddling and treating themselves like a couple. As soon as the guy falls for her (wow teens are really that impulsive), she dumps her saying she can only love him as a best bud. Devastated, the guy feels like shit and shows this to other housemates, making them worry and calls Kuya's attention. In the meantime, the girl befriends the new guy by telling that she has a crush on him because he looked like someone she really adored. The guy takes the opportunity by wooing the girl and makes the other guy sink into another deep tank of shit. Another guy enters the house and to be honest, I felt a bit of disappointment because that freakin host kept on comparing him to Sam Milby. (Which is definitely false) The astigin girl who brings color to the house was evicted while the other loveteam is sharing their moment in silence.

But anyway, there are also those who deserve to win... My Big 4 consists of the teenage mom, the kulot boy, the chinese cutie and the amboy. These are the type of teens who serve their purpose by following the daily tasks and are more focused on reaching their goals. (I still include that chinese girl :p)

I still choose the celebrity edition as the best season of PBB. This edition is trying to deteriorate the reputation of the teen society by generalizing our generation as hopeless romantics. err...

Peace ;)

A new look

Oh please, i'm sick and tired of seeing the old layout. When I tried constructing a new one (which unfortunately didn't end up as presentable as this...), I discovered this skin from Blogskins and thought of giving my "poorly visited" blog a fresh look. Oh my... I have to sign up for another tagboard again since the old one was already expired.. :o But do I still need that? Cuz I figured that since my multiply has the most frequent visits from other peeps, I might as well use this as my personal journal. Nah.. i'll get one na rin... hehehe labo..

Anyway, I should be going to Megamall today with my sister to get our membership card from Hero. Yeah.. Lately I have been overly influenced by Jessica to watch Japanese cartoons a.k.a Anime. And for the record, I am now used to hearing non-stop tunes with lyrics that I barely understood.. imagine that. But you know what? I miss writing here. How could I forget this one of a kind outlet that stayed with me for one whole year?... I guess I got hooked up on the bandwagon, especially when it took me great effort on fixing my multiply.

I'm a little sad because my new buddy turned me down. Wanna know who that is? It's none other than my PS2. Oh btw, if you notice my personification of objects, it's because I realized that these little things have great use which unfortunately were taken for granted. Anyway, it started when I was playing my fave game and suddenly those darn glitches occured on the middle part. It was the climax dude, how was I supposed to react? And then I tried playing my second fave game.. and guess what?? It hung! So obviously it was the console's fault. Thanks to him, i'm back to the boredom world. Good thing i'm into reading.. I drown myself into Robert Greene's national bestseller. But then, I usually fall asleep and consider it as another siesta sessions. haha what a couch potato. Other than that, I tried my lazy hands again in art.... I am currently painting Prince (from Prince of Persia) using Watercolor and a mix of India ink and Poster color.

Under televisionland, I indulge myself to different shows including American Idol with Chris Daughtry as my bet. (But I think it's Taylor who'll win.) On the local network, I still watch PBB teen edition but not as hooked up as Celebrity Edition. Tomorrow (I mean tonight), i'm gonna check out AXN's new series Supernatural featuring Jared Padalecki and former Smallville's Jensen Ackles. I hope it's nice... Oh yeah, I forgot about Smallville.... :o Anyway, it'll be easy naman since we have Bearshare on our side.

Gimmicks, hmm... I seldom go out. The last time I went out was with T.22 minus Ishi-Portia-Mau. :c Next agenda is the Latigos sleepover. Then if fate would allow me to our class outing, much better. Haii, I miss Tito Toto and Tito Wye... they're the best uncles in the world! Sad to say, they already went back to Baguio. :c Boring...

So I guess that's it... Wow.. some entry I made! ü it's been a long time since I last splurged my energy to write an entry this long since I really really wanna share. hihi Anyway, this is my comfort zone so I better not hold back. ;)
